Meet the Winemaker Dinner

Join us for our next Meet the Maker event. This time we’ll be hosting a midweek tasting and dinner with Loire winemaker Laurent Saillard and Joel Wright from Wright’s Wines.

We first met Laurent in Loire many moons ago and have been ardent followers of his delicious wines ever since! Six years on, it’s now a privilege to welcome Laurent to Cardiff to showcase his brilliant new releases.

Tickets include a 3-course set menu priced at £45 exclusive of drinks purchased on the evening and gratuity to the team.

The evening begins with a wine tasting and an opportunity to meet and discuss the domaine with Laurent, as we pour all his new releases (and some older vintages) by the glass. Laurent and Joel will be on hand to share the story behind what is in your glass.

Afterwards join us for a long table supper in our upstairs dining room, where Head Chef Alex Vines will serve a Loire-inspired menu, with a large selection of Laurent’s wines available by the glass and bottle.

We will also have the full range of Laurent’s wines to take home at a special discounted rate for the evening : )

To book email bookings@ogofcardiff.co.uk with the number of tickets you’d like. A £10 deposit per person is required in advance with the remaining amount due on the night.
