We’re a small, independent neighbourhood restaurant and wine bar in Cardiff serving up seasonal food and natural wines. Our regularly changing menu is guided by produce sourced directly from local farmers — ensuring every dish (and drink) is fresh, considered and full of flavour. 

Our wine list champions distinctive bottles from passionate winemakers across the UK and Europe, with a focus on low-intervention, well-farmed natural wines.

Are you passionate about great food, warm hospitality, and being part of a close-knit team? We’re looking for enthusiastic people to join our new team.

  • Provides warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service that enhances our customers’ experience, whilst ensuring smooth operations between back and front of house.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Greet and seat customers.

    • Guide through food and wine menus.

    • Operate online booking system and POS. 

    • Liaise between customers and kitchen.

    • Handle feedback and complaints.

    • Run food and drinks.

    • Reset tables between settings.

    • Keep FOH areas clean and restocked.

    • Polish glassware.

    • Support kitchen when needed.

    • Stay informed on the producers and natural wines we work with.

    • Ensure a positive customer experience. 


    What We’re Looking For:

    • At least 1 year’s hospitality experience is preferred.

    • Experience operating an online booking system and a POS system. 

    • A passion for hospitality, seasonal produce and natural wines.

    • A friendly, positive attitude.

    • Great communications skills.

    • A team player.

    • An organised and an efficient multitasker. 

    • An ability to speak conversational Welsh is desirable but not essential.

    • Weekend and evening availability is required for this role.

  • Contributes to daily kitchen operations, upholds food safety and quality, and supports sustainable practices to deliver delicious seasonal food for our customers.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Collaborate with Head Chef on menu development.

    • Food costing and ordering.

    • Lead kitchen when required.

    • Ensure smooth kitchen operations.

    • Oversee prep, service, inventory.

    • Keep kitchen clean and stocked.

    • Reduce food waste. 

    • Maintain high standards of food quality. 

    • Uphold personal and kitchen hygiene.

    • Follow UK safety regulations.

    • Prepare allergen-safe dishes.

    • Participate in special events.

    • Mentor junior chefs.

    • Support FoH and run dishes when needed.


    What We’re Looking For:

    • At least 2 years of experience in a busy professional kitchen, preferably as a Senior Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.

    • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate.

    • Allergen Awareness Training.

    • A genuine love for seasonal, sustainable, and high-quality ingredients.

    • A friendly, positive attitude.

    • Great communication skills.

    • A team player.

    • An organised and an efficient multitasker. 

    • Experience working with seasonal produce is desirable but not essential. 

    • An understanding of sustainable farming practices and natural wine making is desirable but not essential.

Location: 11 Kings Road, Cardiff, CF11 9BZ

Hours: 35-40 hours per week

Start Date: End of November 2025

Salary: £14 per hour, plus equal share of tips

Contract: Permanent
